Needed to get my brand new rims powder coated for my lucid, they quoted me $85.00-125.00 which i thought it would be $125.00 each, well they surprised me and only charged $90.00 which i thought was extremely fair, most companies would have held me to the $125.00 amount. I had a great one stop experience at OCP getting a set of 2004 Ford Ranger rims blasted and coated. The rims looked amazing, they were completed ahead of the promised date, and the price was very reasonable. They are a 3'rd generation family owned business who takes pride in their work and their customer service. I will be a repeat customer in the future!

Honest and forthright. I took a couple small pieces from an outdoor grill to them for sand blasting and powder coating. They told me up front, before I even went down there, these may not turn out well, but we can give it a try and hope it works out. They quoted me a fair price over the phone. I dropped off the parts and over a span of a couple weeks they sand blasted, baked, coated, baked again, and coated them again.

I checked in periodically for updates and they said they'd keep trying and would keep me posted. They contacted me after their final attempt and said, sorry, we tried, but because of the composition of the metal (pot metal), the pieces just don't look good. So they said please come pick them up when you have a chance, no charge, since they turned out so poorly.

I showed up and the parts were in much better condition than I expected, I was quite pleased. But they said no charge because they don't meet our standards. I asked them to take a few bucks anyway because I appreciated the time and effort, and the parts were still nicer than I expected. They offered some tips on how to paint and finish them so they would look good when I was done. After that, I said thanks and took the parts home and finished them myself.

What a good, honest deal. They were honest up front, set realistic expectations, tried their best, the final parts didn't meet their standards and because of that, they didn't want to charge me. Can't beat that.

I came in to get some beadlock rings (for wheels) sandblasted / powder coated and their prices were very reasonable. They did a great job on my beadlock rings, and I later came back to get a winch fairlead powder coated which they also knocked out for me. Great service. Great job.

I was very happy with the fast turnaround time and quality of the work when I had two sets of wheels done recently. OC powder coating has it together. At first when I walked in I was slightly worried because the shop isn't specifically set up around doing wheels and they obviously do whole other types of bigger commercial projects. My fears could not have been further from the truth. I dropped off 8 beat up wheels and three days later I had them back looking better then brand new. I had some ideas of specific colors I wanted when I walked in but after describing the look I was going for with the staff they steered me in a slightly different direction and they were right because I ended up with exactly what I wanted. My wheels all look great and now it is like having two brand new sets it's awesome! I should also mention that their prices are extremely competitive and they seem like trustworthy individuals with a nice facility . Try them out you will not regret it.

My experience with this company was exceptional from dealing with the Guys on the phone to the Gentleman at the desk. The pressure was on 4 chairs and a table base, powder coated for my mother in law. What a great community-friendly business OC Plating is! I discovered them for the first time a month ago, when, during a bathroom remodel, our faucet hole was drilled into the countertop too close to the sink (my fault). The easiest remedy was having a fabricator make a larger faucet baseplate (escutcheon, for faucet experts). The faucet store employee said it would probably cost $50 to have it made + $35 for chrome plating. It did cost $50 for the fabrication, but OC Plating quoted only $25 for the chrome. I was happy with that...BUT...even happier when I picked it up and Chris said, "What is this for?" When I told him, he said, "No charge!" I was shocked. THIS IS A BUSINESS WHO CARES ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS - NOT JUST ABOUT $$.

Then, two weeks later, our tile guy mounted another wall-mount faucet back plate too-high, so it covered part of the chair rail over the backsplash. Because I hadn't specifically said I wanted it under the chair rail, it was another remedy I was responsible for. (remodel = learning experience) It was either cutting into the living room wall behind the bathroom, cutting the already-laid backsplash open, or...heading back to OC Plating to see if they could cut the back plate.

Enter Frank...from the surf rack business next to OC Plating. Dan (Chris's brother I think) walked me over there to see if Frank could help with this, since it wasn't really something OC Plating did. Frank said he could help. I asked how much...$20. There is no taking advantage of customers here. Then, Dan took care of the plating at a very reasonable cost. It was ready on time, looks beautiful, and so do my faucets!

What a fantastic business this is. I will always remember their kindness and will definitely think of them whenEVER I need chrome plating done.
